Saturday April 12th, we're kicking off our 2025 Roll-Racing season with some good ol' fashioned competition at Maple Grove Raceway with 'King of the North'!
This is the ULTIMATE event for vehicles of any power level to race and compete.
• 1/3 mile roll-racing •
• Full track prep & spray for the full 1,760’ (1/3 Mile Racing Distance) •
• Qualify by MPH from 10a-1p (approx); unlimited qualifying runs •
• The 8 MPH for each class advance to the quarter-finals •
• Quarters-, Semis-, and Finals are Heads-Up (winner crosses first) •
(9) AUTOMOTIVE CLASSES + (2) MOTORCYCLE CLASSES
Your highest qualifying MPH (with a fair start-speed) is what will determine which class you will be placed into. The top-8 MPH passes, with a fair-start (Under 66 MPH), will advance to the quarter-finals.
In the shootout portion, the winner is who crosses first, just like street racing—but with all the data to ensure each run is fair.

Example Class Bracket
Here's how it works:
1) Racers will spend the first half of the day qualifying for their top MPH (with a fair start below 65.99 MPH). Race pairings don't matter at this point.
2) Based on their best qualifying MPH by 1:00PM, the top-8 racers in each class will be announced . Each class will be bracketed in groups of 8 from the #1 seed onwards. Racers can track their place within the class during qualifying on the RaceMotive website.
3) The top-8 cars in each class will shoot it out in a single-elimination heads-up format where winners are determined by who crosses the line first
4) A +2.00 MPH breakout rule applies against the #1 qualifying MPH within that class (this means DO NOT SANDBAG during qualifying or you will be eliminated during competition)
